Had to get a programmed key, did not think they could do it, but they could. It was a little expensive still, over $80, but I think that is cheaper than other alternatives. They sent it in the mail and it works just fine.

Any time I can do something myself, I will. The last time I needed to get a key made, it took at least ten minutes just to hunt down someone inside the box store that could do it for me. KeyMe was easy to use, intuitive, upfront with pricing, and just as quick as a hardware store machine. I'll update this review if the keys don't happen to work on my door---but I'm very pleased with how easy it was to use and pricing was great. Paid $11 for a key with a special graphic print on it.

Very disappointed. 2 out of 3 of my keys were improperly cut and won't work. I emailed customer service about their "100% Guarantee" just to get new ones made, and no response. I emailed again: No response. I would be VERY wary. Changing it from 1 to 3. Their email address for customer service is basically unusable as no one responds. However, when provided a number, the agent refunded the keys and is giving me a promo code to use it again. If the keys work when I get to it, I will change the stars to be higher. Still 3 stars as only 1/3 of my keys were cut correctly.

Key machines are great and make working keys fast, but the keys I got (green colored) were lightweight aluminum. These are great for spares or emergency keys but I wish they were made of a stronger metal for every day use.
